LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- Sarah Palin will speak at Liberty University's final convocation of the fall semester.
The university announced that the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate will speak to students on the Lynchburg campus Dec. 4. Signed copies of her new book, "Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas" also will be available at the event.
Liberty's convocation is held three times a week and gives students an opportunity to hear an array of conservative and Christian speakers.
The university was founded by the late Moral Majority leader Jerry Falwell.
