NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Passenger traffic at Norfolk International Airport is down compared to 2012.
The airport says passenger traffic decreased by more than 10,000 passengers in October compared with the same month last year. That's a decrease of nearly 4 percent. From January to October, passenger traffic was nearly 6 percent lower than traffic during the same ten-month period last year.
The airport also experienced more than a 14 percent decline in cargo activity in October. For the January to October period, cargo activity has decreased more than 16 percent.
