Winning lottery ticket purchased in Alexandria set to expire

WASHINGTON – A winning $100,000 lottery ticket is set to expire in Virginia.

One lucky person purchased a ticket for the May 2 Cash 5 drawing at the 7-Eleven at 5834 North King’s Highway in Alexandria.

Winning lottery tickets expire 180 days after the drawing, which means the ticket becomes worthless at 5 p.m., Oct. 29.

The winning numbers were: 6-15-18-23-32. The winning ticket matched all five numbers.

The person who has the ticket should contact the Virginia Lottery immediately at 804-692-7777 or 703-494-1501.
