VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Virginia Beach relief group Operation Blessing International has opened a bureau in Japan.
Organization officials announced the launch of Operation Blessing Japan on Thursday at the Foreign Correspondents Club in Tokyo.
The move follows two years of humanitarian relief efforts in Japan by Operation Blessing International. The organization delivered tons of relief supplies and equipment to survivors in the immediate aftermath of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Relief efforts have continued.
