MANASSAS, Va. (AP) -- A viewing is being held for an 18-year-old high school football player who was stabbed during a drug-related robbery.
The viewing for Kenny Diaz is being held Thursday at the Mountcastle funeral home in Woodbridge. A funeral will be held Friday.
Police have arrested 19-year-old Woodbridge resident Diandra Samuels and charged her with murder and abduction in Diaz's death. Several other people were also arrested and face lesser charges in the killing.
Police say Samuels robbed Diaz's friend and that Diaz and others went to Samuels' home with a gun to confront her. He was later stabbed. Police say the all the encounters leading up Diaz's death were drug-related.
Diaz was a reserve player for the Woodbridge High School Vikings.
