CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) -- Virginia state police have charged four motorcyclists from Baltimore after a pursuit in Chesterfield County.
State police said in a release that a trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on state Route 88 on Saturday afternoon but the motorcyclists ignored the order to pull over and a short chase ensued.
Two of the motorcyclists ran off the road and into a median, and one of them was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Among the charges are felony eluding police and misdemeanor reckless driving. One of the motorcyclists also was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
