RICHLANDS, Va. (AP) -- Twenty people face drug-related charges in Tazewell County following a yearlong investigation.
Tazewell County Commonwealth Attorney Dennis Lee says the suspects include the owner of a tobacco shop in Richlands and two employees. They're accused of selling synthetic marijuana.
Other indictments involved prescription drugs, methamphetamine or marijuana.
Lee says two other suspects are being sought.
The charges stem from an investigation by several law enforcement agencies in the county.
Lee announced the indictments Monday. He told media outlets that prescription drug abuse is the county's biggest problem, but synthetic drug use is increasing.
