WARRENTON, Va. (AP) -- The brother of a West Virginia prisoner accused in a decades-old slaying in Virginia's horse country says he was with his brother during the New Year's Eve slaying.
Ernest Cloud testified Tuesday at a court hearing for his 64-year-old brother, Ronald Cloud. He is accused in the 1980 shooting death of 30-year-old Brad Baker in Fauquier (faw-KEER') County.
Cloud's sister and stepfather also provided damning testimony in General District Court. A judge found probable cause to send the case to a grand jury.
Baker was the manager of Kinloch Farm, an estate owned by relatives of Stephen Currier of the famed Currier and Ives prints and banker and philanthropist Andrew Mellon.
Cloud is a prisoner in the Mount Olive Correctional Facility in West Virginia.
