WYTHEVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A South Carolina man faces involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from a wreck in Virginia that killed three people.

The Roanoke Times (http://bit.ly/ZxXPQt ) reports that a June trial is set for 32-year-old John C. Parker of Bluffton, S.C.

A Wythe County grand jury indicted Parker on Monday on three counts of reckless involuntary DUI manslaughter. He's also charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The accident occurred Aug. 18, 2012, on U.S. Route 21 in Wythe County. Virginia State Police say a pickup truck driven by Parker crossed the center line and hit a van and an SUV.

Three people in the van were killed. Police identified the victims as 59-year-old Rufus S. Jones and 30-year-old Taurean A.Walker, both of Eckman, W.Va., and 52-year-old Florence J. Braxton of Northfork, W.Va.
