VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Virginia Beach police have identified a motor scooter rider who was killed in a crash involving two cars.
Police on Wednesday identified the victim as 46-year-old Traci Lynne Fulgham of Virginia Beach.
Media outlets report Fulgham's motor scooter was struck by a car that had spun after colliding with the other vehicle. Police say Fulgham went airborne and landed in a grassy area. Fulgham was wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday.
