VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- A man accused of killing two brothers during the robbery of a Virginia Beach fast-food restaurant faces a possible death sentence.
The Virginian-Pilot reports (http://bit.ly/W0xBsw ) that a grand jury on Monday indicted 23-year-old Deandre Leon Dunnaway on two capital murder charges. He also faces two counts of first-degree murder along with firearms, armed robbery and conspiracy charges.
Dunnaway and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Cheari Edwards, are accused of fatally shooting Rally's manager Alphonso White and his brother, Michael A. Johnson. White was 27. His brother was 19.
Edwards is not charged with capital murder. Her other charges are the same as Dunnaway's.
Both are being held without bond at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center. They're due in court in April.
