ROANOKE, Va. - Another Roanoke-area billboard placed by an atheist group has been vandalized to change the message.
The Roanoke Times reports ( http://bit.ly/10wAiot) that parts of a United Coalition of Reason billboard was covered with duct tape and wrapping paper on Friday.
The billboards read, "Don't believe in God? Join the Club." But now two of the coalition's four billboard's in the area have been altered to read, "Do believe in God? Join the Club."
The ads were launched Dec. 19. Paul Hoyt, the local group's coordinator, says the coalition will continue its attempt to add members.
The group says it will allow the billboard company to decide whether to file a criminal complaint.
