CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - The University of Virginia is hosting a public forum to discuss the upcoming General Assembly Session.
The noon forum on the Charlottesville campus is being hosted by U.Va. President Teresa Sullivan and the school's Office of State Governmental Relations.
Officials say they have invited legislators from central Virginia to the annual event to share viewpoints and hear opinions from constituents on issues ranging from the future of higher education, health care, transportation plans and other state and local community topics.
