Grants to be awarded to preserve Va. court records

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A review board is meeting this week to award grants to preserve, secure and improve access to circuit court records in Virginia.

The Circuit Court Records Preservation Grants Review Board is scheduled to meet Wednesday at the Library of Virginia in Richmond.

The board meets twice a year to review preservation grant applications submitted by circuit court clerks and to award grants. At its last meeting in May, the board awarded grants totaling $218,465 to 32 projects.
