FAIRFAX, Va. - Two women have died after their car veered off of Interstate 66 in Fairfax County and struck a tree.
Virginia State Police say the two women died at the scene early Friday morning near the Fairfax County Parkway. Police say the two women were passengers in the vehicle.
Police say the driver, 53-year-old Clarence Waller of Chester, Pa., suffered minor injuries. He was being treated at a nearby hospital.
Troopers identified the dead women as Waller's wife, 53-year-old Shyrel Scott-Waller and his sister, 54-year-old Juanita Ann Waller of Lanham Md.
Investigators say fatigue appears to be a factor in the crash.
