ROANOKE, Va. - A second person has died from injuries suffered when a car hit a Roanoke County school.
Roanoke County police tell media outlets that 42-year-old Christopher Duane Garrett of Wirtz died Sunday.
Garrett was a passenger in a car that hit the bus on Nov. 13. The car's driver, 39-year-old Donna Jean Divers of Wirtz, died at the scene.
The bus driver, three special education students and an aide weren't injured.
Police say Divers lost control of the car and hit the front of the bus.
