SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (AP) - Police are investigating human remains found in a power line right of way in Spotsylvania County.
Sheriff's Office Capt. Mike Harvey tells media outlets that the person's identity, gender and race aren't known. The sheriff's office and the Virginia Medical Examiner's Office are working to identify the remains.
Harvey says the remains were found Saturday afternoon in the Rappahannock Electric high voltage power line right of way in the 9000 block of Brock Road.
