CHESTERFIELD, Va. - Chesterfield County authorities say a man drowned in a reservoir as he swam back to shore because of an approaching storm.
Media outlets report that divers recovered the 19-year-old man's body from the Falling Creek Reservoir at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday.
Chesterfield Fire and EMS officials say the man was swimming with a group of people when they saw the storm approaching. The man went under water and didn't resurface as the group returned to shore.
His name hasn't been released.
