WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Prince William County police say an elementary school teacher has been charged with assaulting a 10-year-old boy.

Police say they have arrested 35-year-old Cynthia Farris Hall of Woodbridge. Hall is a teacher at Kerrydale Elementary School in Woodbridge.

Authorities say the boy reported the assault on May 17, and that he suffered "minor injuries."

Hall has been charged with assault and battery. She was released on $2,000 bond.
