VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Navy says one of its helicopters made a precautionary landing Thursday in an open field near Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach.
U.S. Fleet Forces Command said in a statement that a MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter from Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14 was involved.
The Navy says there were no injuries among the crewmen aboard and the helicopter didn't experience any damage.
Navy maintenance crews have responded to the scene.
