ROANOKE, Va. - A white supremacist charged with violating his supervised release is back in the U.S. following his capture in Mexico.
The Roanoke Times ( http://bit.ly/N6A0iH) reports that William White is being held at a federal detention center in Miami.
Authorities say it could be several weeks before White is returned to Roanoke.
White was arrested Friday by U.S. and Mexican authorities in the Mexican resort town of Playa del Carmen.
In December 2009, a federal jury in Roanoke convicted White for intimidating a group of apartment-complex residents in Virginia Beach. He also was convicted of threatening a university administrator in Delaware and a bank employee in Missouri.
After his release from prison in April 2011, White lived with his parents in Maryland before moving to Rockbridge County.
