RICHMOND, Va. - A Henrico County man has been charged with stealing a state agency's mail van.
Virginia State Police say the 18-year-old was arrested Sunday evening and charged with felony grand larceny and not having a valid operator's license. His name wasn't released.
The minivan was reported stolen Friday morning from a parking lot at the Virginia Department of General Services' State Mail Services facility in Henrico County. Henrico Police found the van and arrested the suspect after a citizen reported seeing the vehicle.
Police recovered a mail bag inside the van containing mail that was to be delivered to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
