Compressor maker to add 130 jobs in Va

NORFOLK, Va. - A German-owned maker of compressors is planning to expand its U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Norfolk, adding 130 jobs.
Bauer Compressors Inc. says it will invest $15 million at its complex and boost its workforce there over the next several years to more than 300.
The Virginian-Pilot reports ( http://bit.ly/RwvXMY) that Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim called Bauer "a shining example of longstanding foreign direct investment."
The company is part of the privately held Munich-based Bauer Group.
