HENRICO, Va. - A Henrico County woman has been sentenced in the fatal shooting of a man while the two played with a gun.

Twenty-two-year-old Sharday Pleasants pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter in February. She told police she and 19-year-old Samuel Clarke II took turns pulling the trigger of a .38--caliber revolver on Aug. 1, 2011. She said she didn't know the gun was loaded.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch ( http://bit.ly/Mp0GXZ) reports that Pleasants was sentenced Wednesday in Henrico County Circuit Court to 18 months in prison.

Prosecutors had asked for a five-year sentence.
