We went to Fletcher's Boat House Saturday morning for the 3rd annual Stroud 5K, helping children with disabilities. diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor at just two
years old, and has gone through numerous

$50 million in diamonds was just stolen from
Brussels airport, which ironically marked the
10th anniversary of the legendary $100 million
Antwerp Diamond Heist. To commemorate it, the
men at Dupont's Heist suited up Ocean's Eleven-
style for diamond-themed festivities. We
snapped mixologist Kristopher Carr, who created
three $1,500 cocktails, each with a real
diamond, to be sold to support the Wake Up and
Dream Foundation. He's with the non-profit's

Harman Center for the Arts on Sunday night,
presented by Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and
PHILANTHROPIK in celebration of hip-hop's role in
the election. Angela Simmons tells us she was

Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll's classic
children's tale had spectacular dances by
choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, an
enchanting, original score, vibrant sets, and
great costumes. The first act features the
Drink Me/Eat Me scene, Pig and Pepper, and the
Mad Hatter's tea party; the second act is the
Queen of Hearts' croquet party and the Knaves'
trial. We loved Aleksandar Antonijevic as the
White Rabbit.
