American Indian museum holds Living Earth Festival

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Museum of the American Indian in Washington is hosting its fourth annual Living Earth Festival.

The festival which began Friday and runs through Sunday celebrates the contributions of indigenous people to environmental sustainability, knowledge and activism. The festival includes food demonstrations including goat cheese-making. Also on the agenda: a sculpting workshops and traditional music.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, chefs will be facing off in a cooking competition modeled after the television show "Iron Chef."
