WASHINGTON (AP) - Jazz pianist Jason Moran is hosting an Election Night Jam at the Kennedy Center in Washington as the polls close and results are reported.
The Kennedy Center is hosting the free concert Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the center's grand foyer. Election results will be shown on large screens overhead.
Moran was tapped last year to serve as the center's artistic adviser for jazz. He will perform with his band, The Bandwagon. The concert will also feature guitarist Zan McLeod and fiddler Tad Marks, bluegrass group D.C. Acoustica and members of the Washington National Opera Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program.
They'll play American favorites and campaign-related songs and sing-alongs.
