WASHINGTON - Catholic University says about 100 students who had to evacuate because of Hurricane Sandy have been allowed to return to their rooms.
Spokesman Victor Nakas says the students lived in modular housing units resembling trailers. They were evacuated Monday as a precaution and most either stayed with friends or went home.
Nakas says the university began allowing the students back on Tuesday morning. No one was injured.
Separately, the university's Office of Campus Ministry has organized a Mass at 4 p.m. Tuesday to pray for people affected by the storm and for the safety of the community.
