WASHINGTON - A local mom angered at a series of episodes when breast-feeding mothers were told to cover up has planned a mass show of support for breast-feeding in public.
The Washington Post reports ( http://wapo.st/Q9Gf4E) Rachel Papantonakis has organized a gathering of several hundred people on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Saturday. Papantonakis, a mother of two, is calling the event the Great Nurse-In.
Children's entertainers will perform and a series of speakers will talk about breast-feeding.
