WASHINGTON - A woman was stabbed near the D.C. convention center late Friday night.

Police say the stabbing occurred about 11:15 p.m. near 7th and M Streets NW. The Mount Vernon Square Metro station is nearby.

The woman was stabbed in or near her jaw, police say. They are looking for two women in connection with the incident.
