WASHINGTON - Police they have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 32-year- old man in southeast Washington over the weekend.
Authorities say 48-year-old David Allen Shepherd of northeast was has been charged with murder in the death of Henry Charles Miller.
Police say officers on foot patrol discovered the victim suffering from gunshot injuries in 1100 block of Chicago Street about 1 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to a hospital, where he pronounced dead.
Shepherd was arrested a short time later in the 1400 block of Brentwood Parkway in northeast.
