WASHINGTON - D.C. Police says a 31-year-old woman has been charged with the fatal stabbing of a 28-year-old woman.
Police say Cydrisse Marcha-Marie Alvin was arrested Monday and charged with murder while armed for the stabbing death of Amber Lynette Kent.
Police say officers responding to a report of a stabbing in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast, found Kent suffering from apparent stab wounds. She was transported to an area hospital where she later died.
